Glenn’s artistic journey began with his first John Gnagy Art Kit, a subscription to MAD magazine and seeing The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show and continued along a twisted path through music, design, theatre and writing. He is an award-winning creative director and designer specializing in environmental branding.

Prior to establishing the design department at Wyeth (formerly American Home Products), Glenn cut his teeth at Art & Antiques magazine, Laura Ashley, Toys R Us, and a slew of design studios. As Director, Global Design for Pfizer, he led the environmental branding initiatives globally for their Consumer Healthcare division.

Along with Andy Epstein, Glenn formed InSource, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to enhancing the understanding, impact and value of in-house design within the corporate environment.

Glenn is a frequent presenter at various design and business conferences in the U.S. and Canada including the HOW Design Conference and In-HOWse Designer Conference, Design Thinkers Conference (Toronto), RDV Design Conference (Montreal), University and College Design Association Conference (UCDA)Interagency Visual Media Group Conference (CIA, FBI, NRO, NSA, NGA, Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines), Parenting Publications of America Conference (PPA), Thinking Creatively Conference (Kean University), the New Jersey Institute of Technology, as well as many InSource events.

The AIGA endorses Glenn as a recommended speaker on in-house design issues. He has also been a featured presenter at Merck and Deloitte headquarters as well as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Washington, D.C.

Glenn was selected by Graphic Design:USA as one of their “People to Watch in 2008” and in 2009, was chosen to be on the Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors for the American Business Awards.

He is a contributing editor at HOW Magazine, Graphic Design:USA, Dynamic Graphics+Create Magazine, and The Creative Group’s eZine and has been featured in Step Inside Design and Graphic Design:USA. Glenn has contributed to the books, Bringing Design In-House by Orange Seed Design, In-House Design In Practice by Cathy Fishel and the In-House Creative Services Industry Report, a collaborative effort by Cella Consulting and InSource.
